As donors become increasingly more results-oriented in their giving, they have become more curious about how their gifts are invested. Questions about the investment strategy of life income gifts are more prevalent as donors seek reassurance about their stream of income amid the headlines of market volatility. This session outlines some common donor perceptions—or misperceptions—about investing planned income vehicles and provides information to help facilitate conversations with donors about investments.
