How to Increase Awareness Through Social and Video Marketing

This is an interactive discussion with local company, Canico Media. In this session, participants will discuss how charities can leverage social media and video marketing to increase awareness and gain supporters to make a larger impact. Canico Media will go over the different types of videos, the impact they have and how to post to social media effectively.

Gift Planning Fundamentals: Tools & Techniques

* Requires an additional fee ($225 on or before August 28, $275 after August 28)
This pre-conference seminar will include topics like tax essentials, charitable gift assets, and planned gift vehicles. The emphasis is on learning the concepts in order to develop a conversational understanding of the technical topics so that you can speak with confidence to donors and prospects. If you are new to planned giving, need a refresher, or are a development generalist, this course will give you an overview of gift planning and the tools you need to make the most of it.

Registration includes the books Getting Started in Charitable Gift Planning: Your Guide to Planned Giving and Getting Started in Charitable Gift Planning: The Resource Book by Brian M. Sagrestano, JD, CFRE and Robert E. Wahlers, MS, CFRE
* Requires an additional fee ($250 on or before August 28, $300 after August 28)
This pre-conference seminar will include topics like donor base demographics, policies and procedures, board and volunteer cultivation, and basic metrics to monitor the gift pipeline. The emphasis is on learning to assess your organization's readiness for planned gift fundraising, and laying the foundation for a successful program. If you're conducting a feasibility study, or you've been charged with starting a new program, you'll find expert advice and best practices here.
