The 116th Congress is now in full swing with the reality of divided government firmly setting in. Despite this somewhat complicated legislative landscape, the charitable sector is coalescing around a number of bills that would act to increase the tax benefit for charitable contributions or otherwise permit charitable organizations to divert more of their funds to their charitable missions.
