Anatomy of a Gift Agreement

Participants in this session will dissect a gift agreement looking at vital parts such as enforcement provisions, naming terms, gift restrictions and fund management terms.  Working through a gift agreement, participants will learn to draft agreements to meet donor wishes that can be administered by the charity for years to come.
 
Learning Objectives:
1. Identify key provisions to include in gift agreements.
2. Learn laws applicable to gift agreements including UPMIFA.
3. Learn the benefits and pitfalls of enforceable pledges.
